    I've been playing again...

This time I went with a bunch of guys to Salisbury Plain, which if you don't know is and area in the South of England covering some 300sq miles and is where Stonehenge is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salisbury_plain There are miles and miles of off-road tracks and because it is used by the Army in exercises there are deep ruts and water galore. We've had a cold snap here and along with some snow made for some great fun, especially keeping the VX in 2WD! The water splashes were frozen so wading through them was a bit cringing as you hear huge lumps of ice banging into the truck! A quick look revealed no damage, I even managed to keep the number plate on there!

Sorry - now sorted. It was OK in Chrome!

She doesn't need a steering wheel - she does all the driving anyway... "go that way, do this, take me to my friends house, speed up, slow down!".... If you have a wife or daughter, I'm sure you know what I mean!

I noticed the same, I briefly looked at your pics at home before I came to work & they all looked fine. (use chrome @ home)
Then at work (Ie) they were all like spread out & stuff...

Those are JDM headlights, which vary from the US spec headlights in that they use a different bulb/reflector.

Help me out here JDM owners, I can't remember if they're a sealed beam or bulb/reflector...

They are H4 headlights.... I pinched this from another website:

The European H4 headlight design is a much better light than the stock sealed beam units that came with the truck, or even the
newer design US Specification sealed beam lights. The European H4 design is basically a two piece unit that has a burner (bulb)
that is available in a variety of wattages and voltages that is placed into the back of a lens and reflector unit where it is
held in place with a spring clip. The benefits of this design is that you only have to change the bulb when one burns out instead
of the whole unit, and the lenses have a much more efficient design than those found in sealed beam lights. The European H4
lenses also are noted for having a different pattern than that which is found on the sealed beams found in the US. The change
in lens pattern is such that in low beam the light is kept down on the road in front of the vehicle and to the right side (to
illuminate the shoulder). The low beam pattern thus looks somewhat like this __/ In high beam, the light is directed
primarily down the road in front of the vehicle. One nice benefit of this lens to other traffic, especially for someone
approaching a truck that has its lights as high as the M37, is that the low beams don't blind the other drivers as much as a
    “regular” sealed beam does.
So don't think they would work for you guys. Left hand drive ones are available on ebay though: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Wipac-Quadopti...#ht_522wt_1165

    Thanks Nick

We use the H-4 bulb also, but with an indirect (shielded) reflector.

BTW, what does "HTH" signify above your sig?

I have a theory or two...

Lol sorry it stands for 'Hope That Helps'. What were your theories?

The bulbs we use don't have the reflectors I think - here they are: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_205263
