Thumbs up Purolator PCV PV1061 for $2.68 + free shipping

So I was ordering some more Purolator PCV valves PV1061 from Advance Auto parts.com cuz they had great price $2.68. Website wouldn't add it to my cart for some reason, so I called to place order (1-877-238-2623). Discovered they have Free Shipping special today & tomorrow (Sat).
So $2.68, no shipping & no sales tax for me in AZ (cuz no stores in AZ)...I ordered 4!

Got mine 1 yr ago with 64k, PCV looked to be original w/very little rattle. Changed to synth oil right away.

Didn't use a drop of oil until 6 months later drove 485 miles to Moab and used 1/2 qt
Drove return trip without losing a drop....

Changed oil & PCV again in June.

No oil loss until this month at 68,400, nothing out of the ordinary in driving, down 1/4 qt.

Changed oil to Amsoil & changed PCV. Noticed old one had very little rattle, sounded like it was soaked with oil inside.

I've alternately read that prolonged highway driving does/can and does not cause oil loss. So I don't know which it is. I just know it was suggested here to change the PCV at every oil change, so I do. So far, it appears mine isn't a big oil guzzler, but I know it can still come on with the mileage I'm approaching.

So in 1 yr, I've replaced it 3x. Read online today that Purolator recom replacing at least 1/yr.

Thanks Sue for the link and good chatting with you.

I had the same problem with Advance Auto Parts, even after setting up an account, but anyway, 6 PCV valves on order via the telephone
