    UK VX Insurance

    Thanks Nick for the pointers, you asked that i let you know how the prices compair.

    Adrian Flux £815 fully comp, £200 excess, breakdown cover

    Sureterm 4x4, £709 fully comp, £300 excess, no breakdown but covers green laning!

    Will keep you up to date on how it goes, i have to get it this week anyway! God i hate answering the same 50 questions over and over!

    Ouch! There are some benefits to being old like me then!

    Do Adrian Flux not cover green laning then? I thought that was standard with their policies???

    I guess it depends on if you need recovery or not? I have a Barclays account which gives me recovery as one of the benfits... Maybe an option?

    My Flux policy does - I asked specifically.

    I pay about £385 fully comp including £45/year breakdown cover. That's for about 5k miles/pa social, domestic & pleasure parked in my drive.

    Your commuting (and work?) mileage will fairly be adding to the cost

    I commute, but do under 7500 miles a year, no idea why its soo high???? i have 6 years no claims etc

    I had it insured at my Dads address which was 100 quid cheaper but cant do that anymore

    Sure Term £612 and £400 excess
    Noel Dazely £356 and £100 excess


    So using this website just saved me £300, pay your subscriptions peole!!!!! thank you nick!!!!

    I would have gone for Adrian Flux at £815 if i hadnt got this info!

    Cool - thats a good result. I hope you mentioned the FWDC It definately pays to shop around.
