Pics not for the squeemish, only I get hurt installing...

Well, for most of you, you know all the crazy stuff I have done. I weld in flip flops and a short sleeves with no gloves. I worked that bumper in my garage with no gloves. I drilled all the holes with no glasses and so on. Go figure that while installing Wet Okole seat covers in my wife's new F150, I hurt myself. I nicked the tendon I think, it feels kind of numb when I bend it. Good news, I wrapped it in a paper towel, put on a dish glove, and finished the install. There was so much blood in the glove, I should have gotten stitches I am sure. Instead, I had some Merlot and some Coors light.

Enjoy the pics. I am going to be hating life tomorrow.

Ahh, it's merely a flesh wound!

Numbness would be a nerve issue. It you cut the tendon bending it would be pretty much impossible.

Well, it is sore, motrin seems to do the trick. I am going to keep it cleaned, but it keeps bleeding, so it is keeping itself clean. Yippeee!!!!!!!!!

Watch it doesn't go necrotic. I had a friend that tried to tough out the EXACT same cut in the same place as yours, and he is minus a finger now.

x2. There is NO WORK worth doing without safety glasses. But in your case Marlin, looking at the front of your VX tells me you might have lost your eye sight already. Sorry man, couldn't help it!!

But in all seriousness, protect your eyes and hands, bro!!! Not worth it!!!

Aw heck, if I had that on my lip, it wouldn't keep me from whistling.
Seriously dude, you gotta use some safety equipment.
So I said to myself, I said "Handee"

Hmmm, let me think now-- Active Duty U.S. Navy = Free Medical & Dental. Hmmm, now let me ponder that word "free" for a moment. Yep, that's gonna' require a bit more thought.

Well, for the ridiculous people that support public health care, I can tell you first hand what kind of care it will be....plus in order for me to go to medical, I would have to drive all the way over to the base (4 miles) and have them tell me I need to go to the ER. Then I go out in town and sit in the ER for 4 hours for them to tell me it is too late to get stitches. No thanks, I will cut out the middle man. I am with Justin on this one, blood sweat and beers. I have seemingly superhuman powers. I begged for snow in SC which seemed a ridiculous desire. Guess what, I got 4" last night, it hasn't snowed like this in almost 20 yrs. Too bad there isn't any on the roads, but it looks nice. Well, my wound is already closing up, I glued it shut last with nu-skin, and peeled it off this morning, not bad. Full function, no discoloring other than the bruise. Gotta be ready to install that Aussie ocker next weekend
