    OME 912 OOPS x 2 ?

Installed OME 912 springs yesterday . I'm pretty sure that I installed them Upside down. I put the flat side off the spring down. My logic being that the flat side had sharp edges that may cut the rubber damper . Thing is with the flat side down , when rotated to fit the cup on the axle it seems to not seat very well .

    Moving on ... I Ordered 1.5" lift , after install I'm measuring a lift of 2 13/16 " . Is this Right... Can't be... .

    Flat side UP...

Look at how the bottom cup fits the taper of the coil, & how the flat side matches the upper cup = flat.

Just think though...by the time you are done with the re-install you should be an expert and be able to do it in no time at all!

I don't know, I think I would just leave it and get the extra 1" for free. I'm sure it's just a conspiracy by the suspension companies to make you think you can't do it.

    After you of course lol.

    Update : Today I flipped the OME 912 springs , and I'm still measuring a lift of 2 13/16 " .

So how much lift does the three inch lift springs give ? Three inches , or is it more ? or maybe less ?

The 912s give about a 2.5 inch lift. Yours will probably settle a bit.
