1999 VX being parting out

Some of you may have seen the 1999 VX being parted out on Ebay. They're offering the speedometer cluster and the rear view mirror.

I contacted the seller and was referred to the salvage yard where the truck is actually located, somewhere on the West Coast. The VX has only front end damage. Engine and transmission and everything else is good and the interior is completely intact. It's the red & black. They've had it in the yard for only two weeks.

I ordered the passenger side window/door switches & bezel assembly and got it for $60.00 including shipping.

Talk to Jeremy at 541-207-9014. He was very friendly and helpful and asked questions about the VX and seemed interested. I told him he might be getting calls from forum members. Put your want list together and give him a call.

I'm closer (45 miles), and am going tomorrow morning. Its not in area code 541, it's in a associate yard just down the road from me.

Lemme know if they have a driver side kick panel and the rear hatch prop assembly. Oddly, those are the only parts of my VX missing.

95 miles round trip and they wouldn't even let me look at it, It's in a holding pen. You would think SOMEONE might of mentioned that during the 3 phones calls I made saying I was coming up there

It's in a holding pen or something PLUS they charge 2 bucks admission just to go into the pick a part yard and do a tool box inspection both in and out!
