    Wheel Adaptors

Has anyone put wheel adaptors on their VX yet? What are the pros and cons? I'm running 285/60/18s now. I like the width of the tire, but I'd like them to stick out about an inch more. This seems like a good solution without having to buy new wheels. Here are the ones I was looking at. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-Isu...Q5fAccessories

    Peace.

Hey Tom. Richard (Kodiak) has them installed on his VX and has had no problems with them. Not sure what brand he has or where he got them so you may want to PM him for info.

Make sure to buy good quality spacers, properly torque them and recheck them from time to time and you should be alright.

Hey, check ebay for Toyota truck 6 bolt spacers. They are like 20 bucks cheaper for the same flippin part. It just needs to b 6x5.5"

All to be taken as info only...
Something as important as keeping the wheels on your VX is not where I would be trying to save a few $$$.

Also, get an alignment if you install spacers...
And use red loc-tite on the stud threads for bolting the spacers to the hub.

No matter what you decide, make sure the center bore measurement is large enough.
