Official Tax Return/Bonus/Raise Show and Tell

How about a fun little thread where where we share our new OT "toys" with fellow forum cultists. Always pretty fun to see what people do with their funds and what they interests are. Bet this kinda thing gets REALLY interesting after tax returns.

This past week, I received my bonus from last year and with small chunk of it, I took delivery on my new weekend plinker.

    (pic from web, not mine)

Have yet to have plink any rounds off with it yet, only got around to giving it it's first good cleaning. Really looking forward to firing some rounds down range with it though. Currently looking for a new forearm and optics for it.

I planned my family vacation to the beach (FL panhandle area) in June. I'll post some pics of me in my speedo after the trip takes place.

Got a nice bonus this year so we're finally paying off some credit card debt that we incurred paying for our daughter's ICU stay, start-up costs from moving into a house, and getting screwed on selling my wife's car (she was an E-3 at the time she bought it, and the O-4 who sold it to her neglected to mention the frame damage that didn't show up on the CarFax report, so we lost $6500 on trade-in - I swear to God I'll beat his *** if I ever see him again).

Hoping to pick up a new set of tires and rims in the next month or so... can't wait to post pics!

No pickies...yet, but part of my tax refund is paying for new summer shoes and a timing belt/water pump swap.

I am not getting a refund, so I get to go further in debt.

My refund is my yearly race trip/vacation funding. First part of it will pay for my trip to Coronado this weekend for Superfrog and then a trip to Vegas in November for Silverman....

....and hopefully enough to get me to Moab!

X 2 and no bonus from work...but no more debt either.

Even so still taking my family on a Summer cruise...my wife is graduating with her Masters in Education and it's our 30th anniversary.

    Really blessed to have them...

I can't decide if I should pay off my VX with my tax return or if I should buy goodies. I have too many projects and vehicles to know what to do...

Well assuming you're going to do both no matter what, better to buy goodies in cash and keep a (hopefully) low interest auto loan, vice credit card-ing goodies at a much higher rate.

    Just my $.02.

I have one of these you can have for the cost of shipping if you want. The project I got it for went another direction and I couldn't use it. It's been collecting dust ever since.

    Cool I decided to...

Get a little pre Moab ink with the munny uncle has been keepin' for me INTREST FREE...

I mean, SERIOUSLY...why use valuable Moab party time sittn' in the local tat parlor, when you can get it done before the reunion...

I'm tryin' to talk my ink guy into coming to Moab with his rig (both ink & off road) in the next year or two (not this year) for anyone interested...

This is only a few hours old, so it's still a little red...
