Aw, you the f'ing man! Always wanted one! I can't ride a bike anymore anyways with my mangled leg so you will do well to get some quality riding in on it for me.

No need for electric shifter - with a sidecar, jockey shift or tank shift and suicide clutch are safe and look much more "period" than a solenoid/wires/switches.

A 20mm AA shell would make a nice WWII oriented handle...
Thanks for that buddy! Hand't thought about a handshift! I'll be in the workshop this weekend fabbing one up !!

    You ARE the Stig!

I'm going to reluctantly admit it looks one hell of a laugh.

CrotchPocket--- Ok, perhaps the British "Dough Boy" helmet would fit your tastes better. In the meantime, you can paint some British Multi-Color Circle emblems on the sides of your scooter just like the Sopwith Camel aircraft of WWI or the P-40 WarHawk Spitfire aircraft of WWII. Now, that would look way cool.

By the way, now I remember exactly where I saw your motorcycle in a movie-- It wasn't so much "The Great Escape", but rather it was Cheech & Chong's famous "Up In Smoke" (the original) which had Tom Skerritt playing a Viet Nam vet having combat flashbacks and riding a side-car motorcycle with Cheech Marin in the side-pod. Same exact O.D. Green color and everything. Check-out "Up In Smoke", you'll be amazed at the simularities.

    I vote this:

The roof boxer is a great lid (although it was the helmet I was wearing when I had my m/c accident and the ambulance guys didn't know how to lid the chin) but be careful about thay black visor as I believe that are still not street legal ( or has the law changed again?). Also is the lid fibreglass or abs, as they were originally abs (and not as good as the f/g one)?
