Thread: Rear G Sensor

    Rear G Sensor

Well my ongoing problems are 'possibly' caused by a second G Sensor at the rear of the vehicle. Now this part doesn't come on the US version (I believe). It's under the vehicle by the side of the fuel tank.

So, as its not a US part, has anybody got any bright ideas about where I can get one from? I really don't want to crawl about under Crotchrocket's truck, stealing his... I've seen his shotgun

    Thanks

    Nick

Got two leads for you. The "G" sensor is apparently also known as a "Road" sensor and was on US Troopers in the 94-96 time range. The first link is to the OEM Parts Catalog on IsuzuParts.com. Set your vehicle to be a 94 Trooper and keyword search for "sensor." You should see G-sensor somewhere on that list. The second link is to a former Isuzu dealership in Florida that has a bunch of parts they're trying to get rid of on the cheap. Not sure if they still have it in stock, but if they do, it's more than $100 less. Here you go:

Thanks guys! I've emailed Lee Automotive - keeping fingers crossed. I can see the G Sensor on Isuzuparts.com, but is that not the g-sensor thats under the centre console?

Yes, they are called ISUZU over here lol . I tried them, but as its JDM import they are less than helpful! I'm guessing if they can get it it will cost a fortune and take weeks to get!

    Cheers

I have no idea, for some reason the online catalog doesn't show an illustration to tell for sure. Definitely think Lee Auto is your best option since they actually list a literal part #.

    Hi

Yes, Chris says he's saved me the part and is getting back to me with a price including shipping.

    Thanks
