It looks like you have the right brackets. The bracket goes up from the bar, so you have to rotate the bracket 180° from how it is in the photo. It looks like that's the passenger side of the bar and I think you have the driver's side bracket on there. Try switching the brackets and pointing them up.
This is my drivers side-
They mount right up front very close to the cladding. The large side with the mounting hole is toward the inside of the bar. I hope I explained that right.
I made a little drawing that might help-
I also wanna make sure you have the right size bar, #30-0015.
BTW, where'd you get those brackets? They look brand new.

I don'se see a number on the bar, but it has the Westin sticker on it. Looks like the right bar. Where would the part number be? As far as where I got the brackets/Bar....I picked it up for like $65 for both from some guy selling stuff in Colorado. I got the bar, brackets, and front full leather bra for under $100. Craiglist special :-) I'm going to try to find the correct bolt because it looks like the bolt hole on the frame where it mounts is threaded on one side. Thanks guys.
I got the bar mounted today. I couldn't find a bolt that would thread so I used a 3/8 long bolt and put it through and put a lock nut on other side. Thanks for all the help yall.

Now I need suggestions for good all around lights that fit.
Thanks again for the help on this. I'm glad its finally on there
Here's a suggestion for possible auxilary lights-- check-out WARN Industries (yes, the same people who make the Winches). WARN just came out with new "Wireless" off-road lights in various designs that don't require running a connection wire through the firewall. Very slick!!!
oh wow, I like the sound of that. I will definitely check that out Thanks
