    A little fun today!

I went with my buddy Chase and his friend William today and found a nice little spot. But MAN getting up this one hill was a PITA! The ground was like powder. I got stuck once up to the door and backed out after a little digging and got a run at it and almost made it to a "hard" patch on the left with a little trail but Williams Jeep got stuck and I had to stop. I made it further than he did on his first try with lockers lol. I wanna go back again and try it soon and see if I can make it all the way up, we had to both be winched up the hill it was THAT bad lol. My buddy Chase has some awesome pics of my truck but these are what I got for now:

    My riding buddy:

Beautiful spring water running through this creek. Both of these hills were pretty damn steep, especially for Florida!

Airing the Jeep down some more

    Hooking the winch up

My 2nd run at it got pretty far up without digging in (mud tires and sand=suck)

Going through some tight trails, scratched the **** out of my truck and have an inside full of leaves and twigs from crap coming through the sunroof lol

Chase has some sweet pics of me coming up the hill the 2nd time and going through this tight area with the side of my truck basically on a wall. Hopefully he sends me the pics soon. The only part that made me sad today (don't care about scratches or the CV's making noise), the stupid silver receiver trim on my hitch came off I liked that lol. The Jeep guy was impressed with the VX today, especially after making it up that hill the 2nd time. We plan on going back again and trying to make it without a winch lol. Your feet sunk just walking through the crap. He is actually a "nice" Jeep owner, not one of the douchebags. He invited me to come with him to some other places around here and might get some free parts to do a solid axle conversion up front from him too lol, if I decide to do that instead of getting new CV's and dropping the diff.

Ya it was a blast, I'm determined to make it up that stupid hill. William doesn't think either of us could make it but after I got my "running" start I made it through most of the soft crap before I had to stop. I think if I had kept going I could have hit the far left "trail" going straight up and made it to the top. Not gonna try it by myself though, it's far out there and would take forever to get someone out there to help you get out. I could probably back out and back up the previous hill if need be. I couldn't believe how soft that stuff was lol, and my tires acted more like shovels haha. I expected that though. My CV's weren't too happy (they aren't blown yet but starting to cackle at me on occasion).

Glad to see you are having fun with Silvya! That's what VXs are for! Great pics!

I used to take my son to some light trails too and he had a blast! Several years later and he still enjoys that (now with my H2). He posted a video in Youtube of us climbing a steep hill (all you can see is the sky as we go up the hill!!!).

My son has now a 150 cc go-kart (see pic) and I take him to some light trials around the neighborhood. He always asks if he can have a VX or my H2 when he turns 16! (he is 11 now).

    Keep sharing pics!

I'm hoping to get some more pics soon from Chase as his are way better than mine lol. He took some of us descending the other hill and coming through the creek (water came up past my knees, I'm 5'9") and then coming up the SOB hill and through a tight pass. I had to drive and even though he had my camera he kept using his lol. I like that go-kart! I'm thinking about building something similar for my little man when he gets a bit older.

I bet if you dropped the tire pressure to five pounds you would have made it up easy .
