    wheel advice offset/backspacing

I have the factory 18's on now. I am looking at some kmc xd rims with these specifications-> 18 x 9,6x5.5 lug spacing, 5.00" backspacing, 0(zero) offset.
Will these rims extend out my wheel wells slightly more?
I'm looking for a wider stance. I would probably just put some terra grapplers on 285/60/18.
I tried to study up on backspacing etc but I'm still no expert.
I love my general grabbers but would like to save them for the snow months only, their narrower and really do well in winter.
    Thanks

yes, as stated in the other thread, they will stick out 1.5-2" farther than factory. with 285/60/18s you are going to have a lot of trimming to do
