Got a few things done on the old sled today.

Finally got around to dropping all the belly armor in preparation for removal of the front axle.
As long as I was under there, I checked & topped up the trans case & tranny.

I finished todays automotive activities with a trip to the salvage yard, & scored a Rodeo dash bezel, with all switches intact, & a few other misc doo-dads, & the icing on the cake?

Wait for it..........




















A genuine "Trail Rated" badge off a more wrecked than usual Jeep...

Now I too can go off road!

All for the low low price of $20.00 American...

Sorry about all the bug splatter & stuph, I haven't took the hose to er since Moab...

I'll eventually have a row of those badges all the way across the rack.
I plan on requiring the forfieture of the trail rated badge before I'll strap any over confident Jeepers out of the ditch in the winters to come.
Same rule will apply out on the trails.

Good policy to have, L-Dub. If they don't have a first born, mind altering substances or cash, then maybe they have a cute girlfriend as a co-pilot. Reminds me of those dash stickers I often see in boats-- Gas, Grass, or @ss; nobody rides for free.
