Well, I went up to Georgia for the Zu summer meet. It was alright, I learned a valuable lesson or two. The VX with a front locker and Kevlars is a little too capable. The rigs that were open had fun, slipping and sliding up hills and whatnot, but I rarely spun tires. It was still fun, just not worth the 200 bucks a day it turned out to cost after gas and camping.
The company was awesome as always and we met some new folks. I represented the VX community quite well and was even considered a replacement for a winch truck in our trail order.
I let the wife drive a bit, she didn't seem to understand HARD DRIVER when sliding down a 60 degree decline...LMAO. I thought we were going to die. No carnage this time. I will be heading to the Uwharrie meet this friday, lucky for me, back to back weekends of wheeling in different parks. We are definitely going to Moab 2011. Looks like we may be bringing some friends. If you ahve heard of the Millers, as in the rock crawling Millers from back in the day, they will probably be bringing a couple of rigs with them. They are based out of Excelsior Springs, MO, where my wife and I are from. Small world.
