BTW, none of the above are in the garage
I guess I'd better scratch the 93 TLC from my list. Brother in law blew the engine last fall. Didn't have time to mess with it so it's gone now. No replacement ... yet.

Very. Very. Jealous... Mainly of the Charger and the Firebird, but those are all right up my alley.

Did you swap the SD motor in? The SD was only offered in 73-74. They listed it in the manual in '75 but it didn't meet emissions so it got dropped. They did have a 455 though in '76, love the Pontiac big blocks. I would love to get my hands on my uncle's '74, red with a shaker hood, 400, all original and low miles, has just been sitting in his garage for YEARS. That 455 bird (if all original) is one of about 7100 with that engine in '76 since it was the last year the 455 was offered. Got any pics of the rides?

Yes the S/D was an after the fact install made shaker intake functions ram air 4 heads with hurst shift kit on the manual tranny and of course no ac lol. It was originally 455 with 4speed no ac with black interior. Was the first car my dad bought new in 76 sat in a barn for 12 years and then I pulled out and restored. First car I ever had was a 69 SS 396 Camero that I bought for 6500 restored and sold for just under 30k which paid for the vette and the charger. Kicking myself though thing would have been worth so much more and I loved that damn thing. There up in the machine shed at the farm now but I think I have some pics laying around the office here that I can scan somewhere.

I love chargers and owned a 1969 SE with a 318 when I was in my early 20s.

YUM! I have some friends who restored a 1968 Firebird a few years ago. The black paint job is so over-the-top perfect and glossy that it's hard to photograph. Once they finish their '78 Trans Am SE, they will probable convert the '68 from "original" to "slightly modified." They rarely drive the '68 because a black car in Oklahoma isn't really drivable without air conditioning during much of the year (oops). Plus they kept the inline 6 with the 2 speed Powerglide transmission. People often look at it say, "I bet that does one heck of a burnout" and Edie's response is "Uhhhh.... no, it's almost impossible to break traction." They have a spare 400 & the appropriate hood stored and waiting for some TLC.
