I just got my '99 VX.
I have had my '76 Jeep CJ-5 for 12 years and the only thing left on it that came from the factory (unmolested) is the transfer case and the grill. I'm having some wiring problems right now.
I got an '85 Chevy 5/4 ton Army pick-up this year and it will soon have Hummer wheels and 36" tires and a Banks Turbo Diesel kit installed.
Now the junkers: '79 Jeep Cherokee (engine donor and later axles); '78 Jeep Honcho J-10 with a blown (up) 360 - i got it for this kid... he is too young to work on it right now; '59 Willys wagon - no drivetrain - got it free but don't know what to do with it yet; there's a couple of spare motors & trannys and frames and stuff too. - I hope my dad doesn't pass on any time soon but when he does he will pass on to me an '85 Jeep CJ-7 with the works and a modified '83 Jeep Scrambler CJ-8
Thought I'd update my post here w/ a pic.

You should powder coat your rims black or get a nice flat black set to macth the EliseOriginally Posted by transio

I have something to add to this thread...
We just traded in my wife's cursed '98 Passat for a brand-spankin'-new '06 Audi A3 sportwagon. There's a pic of her driving off the dealer's lot in my gallery. Note the purdy silver VX in the background.
If anyone is interested in an A3 and wants some info, let me know. You can get yourself a $500-over-invoice deal EASY in the Northeast, where they are not selling as well as in other areas.
I love those!Originally Posted by VehiGAZ
