Beat SC2 last night. Yep, def seen better. Uninstalled and installed Supreme Commander 2. Weak story as well, but they do something right.... "let you play an RTS". I am one of those campers who likes to collect and build. Fend off attacks and rushes and commit to an all out forward blitz once I am good and ready. This game lets me do that, heh.
You want the most solid RTS ever created? Play Company of Heroes. One of those "on the edge" games that is simply beautiful if your rig can handle it.

Yeah, I like it, but it does have some issues. The ported interface has a long way to go on PC, and they DESPERATELY need to put out WAY more maps. The same 4 maps get REALLY old. I had MAJOR problem with the game and my ATI card, but they eventually got resolved for the most part. I still have a few minor problems with video. That said, the graphics are phenomenal.

Yeah, they definitely need some new maps. It sucks when they consoltard a PC game, ya just know it could be a lot better.
Yeah, I was just talking to my coworked about the future of PC games and we both kinda think the market there is going to die out.
I'll be honest, if I could hook up a keyboard and mouse to my console and play FPSs with the same feel, I would probably never buy a PC game again, simply because it would cut down on all the hacking and it would level the hardware playing field. But there will always be idiots using lag switches and other "hacks".
