Well it's about as crooked as what's in your last pic! LOL I think I have about 70 degrees of motion now. The nerves are almost normal... sorta.

That makes me think of my old dog's tail. He had a knubbed tail and it was broken when he was a puppy (he was a shelter dog) so it sat crooked and to the side and when he wagged his tail it moved maybe an inch lol. 70 degrees is better then 50! You'll be back to normal (as normal as YOU can be haha) soon! Then we get to see more of your sweet Blazer! Looking through the pics makes me want to go get one for a toy, swapping engines/etc is so much easier on those. Gonna be a sweet rig. I'm thinking about getting a 1st gen Trooper and making it the fastest Trooper in the U.S. haha, 6.0L swap with heads/cam and ALOT of nitrous hehe

lol, that's a thought. I've also thought about getting an early Silver Avalanche, rhino lining the cladding and the upper portion of the fender flare (where they painted body color instead of extending the cladding), painting a hood insert design in matte black, Snowflakes and a Duramax swap and slapping an Isuzu grille emblem in it, the Isuzuanche! (excuse me) It'd look like the VX's big brother haha. I'm really thinking about getting another 67' Impala/Biscayne like my old one, swapping in a 6.2 diesel with a 4spd manual and making that my daily. Probably get about 30mpg and be CHEAP to build.

Since the ash tray is where I did want it originally, I got in there again today and think If I cut out the metal support between the back of the dash and the ac vent stuff I can get it back in there and have it look good. I'll have to tear the dash apart to get something in there to cut that big bar but I might be able to make that work, I'll keep ya'll posted

Well after some cutting (for some reason my camera phone pics won't send to my email or I'd have pics of the cutting etc) and alot of time in the sun, I got the CB in the ash tray. I still have a little room to move it back further but not sure if I want to or not. What do you guys think?

Ya I have to tear the dash apart again for some new stuff I have coming so when I do I'm going to work on moving it back some more. I think I can get a good inch or so more out of it.

Much, much, better!!! I like that it's out of the passenger footwell (just wasn't to my like'n). Looks way more professional and a cleaner installation. Well done.

Figured I'd tack this on here instead of creating a thread. I'm looking at antennas and where I'm looking there's only a $2 difference between the 4' and 5' Firestik antennas. Would 5' be too much?
