I didn't read the whole write up, so I'm a little unsure as to the functionality of the palm tree...

Definitely cool, the wife and I were looking at these online the other night. Too bad MSRP will likely push 40K. I think the purpose of the palm tree is to wipe sand off your *** before you get in.
Gotta love this quote: "In fact ironman was a name we considered for this concept.”
like this one better: http://www.jeep.com/en/autoshow/conc...les/hurricane/
FWIW it's not really all that mini. It looks Jeep/FJ cruiser size.
You put one of these under there so it doesn't get sunburntI didn't read the whole write up, so I'm a little unsure as to the functionality of the palm tree...
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable man persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on me.
It looks like a retro throw back to the old "Mini Moke" that were popular in the 1960's.
If it is 4wd, I would drive one - don't know if I would buy it though - tooo many $$$$$.
The old Mokes were not 4wd, they just looked like a miniature jeep.
They still have a cult following here and command good prices in restored condition.

Now that food has replaced sex in my life -
I can't even get into my own pants!!
The problem is, it will probably never get made, just like 99.99% of all concepts, which is sad, because I'm sure I'm not the only one who things most modern cars are too boring and practical for their own good!!
