spaceCADETzoom, I would second, third and fourth what everyone else said about meeting the "family" for the first time. I was a little apprehensive, but because we all have this goofy little PUV in common that gives us something to talk about right out of the box. After we finish geeking out over the VX (which never really happens) the conversation moves on to other area's, and it's amazing how much many of us have in common.

It's really just a fun loving group (or is that grope ) and I look forward to seeing them again every year, and meeting new VXers every chance I get.

Over on the Planet ssericz was looking, as was mn840sc...dunno if their schedules match up.

Heck you could share the site with Dave and I, except I don't know if there will be room. My tent is 10x10 and Daves is even bigger...

There is a hot tub? Now that I know that, it won't be the 'quiet' side! :P

So...been reading on accommodations. What're the opinions on all of the options? Though, from the sound of things it looks like choices are already made because of lack of vacancies. Camping actually sounds cool-- it's been a while since I've done any camping outside of Uncle Sam sponsored camping.

    Any convoys out of CO?

It's not nice to talk about your lovely wife's boob job like that.
Just buy her a new bra, and get going.

spaceCADET, many of us stay at the Red Rocks Lodge in downtown Moab (by no means a five star joint, but comfy). This is "the stoop" that you have probably read about, and where many of us gather on a nightly basis to drink, hang out, tell war stories and just generally enjoy each others company. There is also usually a good group of Zooers who will camp at The Portal campground, but it sounds like that won't happen this year and they will be going somewhere else.

It really doesn't matter where you stay, because it's really just a place to sleep, and there isn't much of that going on due to the late night antics at the stoop. There are quite a few hotels in town ranging from expensive to not so much.

It would be great if you could make it out and help us represent Colorado. There is usually a convoy that goes on that Monday as people who are coming from the East pick up more VXers as they travel across the country. I won't be able to make that this year, but hopfully someone will start a thread for it soon.
