    Bully Bar with Offset

I wasn't sure if I should title this thread:

Bully Bar with offset from hell

    or

    Measure once ... cut twice

    or

Don't be messin wit my hiney!

Not to worry though. I haven't completely lost my Engineering skils. The Bully Bar is for the RV, not the VX.

Are you bring this with you to the meet next weekend? Probably would save your @$$ (literally) when driving down I-95/64 through Hurricane Earl.

    Nah.

95 between Richmond & F'burg is so rough, that I'd probably dig an edge & endo down the Hwy.

Last time we made that trip in the RV, it bounced so bad that the microwave oven jumped out of it's retainers.

Hmmm, you just gave me a new idea for a new bumper....

HMMM - Rekin that would be a good starting point for a full exo-skeleton ... removable too.

Oooh, need the matching front bumper, and make some extra wide rock sliders that go out that far

See, this is why I can't do custom fabrication. I could only have 2 feet of material, yet somehow it would expand to being 7 feet long and fit just like that just to spite me.

    My fab skills STINK! LOL!

Yeah, that's the ticket!.....make a matching one for the front, & the extra wide rock sliders, then it'll be like a hoop exo and you can roll on yer side and not even mess up your OFH or yer sheetmetal....so when we push you, er, um, I mean if you fall off a trail in Moab next year you'll just roll over and over ....just make sure Mr. Scary Hook is behind you so he can hook your exo and save yer butt.
ok, ok, let me take care of this for you....

ROFL. Y'all are killin me here.

Rick - I'm not the fab-meister on the bumper. Welder Guy did that one for me. I shutter to think what it would've looked like if I'd tried welding 2 seven foot tubes together. The only mod I did after he fabricated it was to cut off about 4" of square tube & relocate the receiver pin hole so that it fits closer to the back of the RV.

KAT - can I borrow your pirate kitty flag at Moab so Mr. Scary Hook can find me after I roll down the hill?

Sorry I messed with your mind. I should know better:

Good thing Handito hasn't been active lately ... prolly would've caused him a coronary.
