that subi is a first gen STI.... its actually the same as the STI's in the states but they were made in that body style in japan before they were brought to the states (check out the light covers below the headlights---> STI- subaru technica international)

How in the heck is that thing street legal? I'm assuming the US spec version comes WITHOUT the machine gun...
there is no US version. they made many variants, some with/without turrets. some were even sealed for river fourding. they were made from 1959 to the late 70s. you would have to take the guns off, or put on dummy guns. but by street leagal, the have all the lights and siglnals to drive on US roads.
