    Talking need anything fron Japan?

Ok guys here's the deal: I'll be at the LA meeting together with N1, because I won't pack much, I have still lots of stuff I can carry. If any of you need 4 wheels, like the black OZ Crono's or 20inch black wheels instant noodles etc.let me know asap. I'll get them at discount price and best of all you save yourself the sending costs!
It takes approx.2 weeks for them to deliver them so the clock is ticking.

So how much would the Crono's be?

I was just going to get 16" black steel wheels. Good for off-roading. A bit heavier than Aluminum, but probably not by much to matter. They're cheap, like $40 a piece. Bend one? No problem... just get another.

But... Aluminum rims do have advantages over steelies.

My 2001 came with 18s standard. If anyone wants to take them off of my hands, I'd consider offers. 18s look goofy on a truck IMHO. Not sure if Isuzu did that for better on-road handling (less sidewall to flex), or for the MTV Rap Video appeal (not for me.)

    Cronos

    New Dutchman,

Are the OZ black Crono 4x4s one-piece aluminum? Or multi-part like their car rims?

Yeah, I know it looks like they're aluminum. That's what threw me, since I've only seen OZ Racing rims in multi-piece rims, never cast aluminium.

I'm liking those more and more... Too bad they stop at 16s.

Other way around for me... most OZ rims are single piece cast AL construction. There are only a few that are multipiece construction. Most of them are for passenger cars. Come to think of it... I haven't seen many multipiece truck wheels.

    16vs18

Funny in Japan there's a huge choice from 2 or 3 piece wheels!
Not 18 inch though, 16 inch.
I personally prefer the one piece, cause of its clean looks.
I've seen the 18inch wheels live now and without wider tires, they just don't do it for me, too skinny, like a insect...
I'd prefer to go for 16 inchers then and put a thicker tire around them..kinda like Davers VX. The same is possible with 18's but at a higher price and less choice..
