The biggest day of the year!

At least for triathletes! Tomorrow is the big dance....Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii! I will be glued to the live internet coverage all day on Ironman.com. The mens race will be a good one...more than a handfull who will be battling it out for the win. The womens race will be for 2nd...noone is in the same zipcode as Chrissie Wellington...a lot of the top men will be looking over their shoulder!

Your annual Kona Ironman posting always brings a flood of fond Kona memories back to me.

Staring down the smokin' barrel of ol' man winter in the not too distant future makes my memories of Kona all the fonder...& my dread of -35 deg mercury, even stronger...

It was a great Kona Ironman race this year as usual. The Australians proved tough to beat, the whole thing is pretty amazing I've got a great view of the finish line from my store. I hope you get over here next year Triathlete If I can be of help let me know. And Ldub, I think you have Kona in your blood you need to get over here for a morning swim at Magic Sands or a sunset at old A's beach Any way I got a hold of a couple of Ironman vehicle decals there pretty close to the orig VX, a little smaller and blue but looks good I think I'll leave it on for another week
