Dude, those welds look as bad as mine!!! LMAO. I may have to revisit this bumper thing for a third gen. This time out of plate instead of tubing. Now that winter is coming, working outside will be a bit more tolerable.
Looks pretty good and sturdy. Did he bolt the center support to the frame, or does it just rest there as a weight distribution point?

It's bolted to the frame, he welded it up using his mini mig but it's real sturdy, he's really tested it already lol. I didn't see it when he was completely finished so not sure if he went over all the welds again but I know it's strong. Here are my welds using a Miller Pro Mig:
and no, it's made from a universal winch mount and some extra steel.
