The window not going up straight getting cocked and jamming stems from the regulator being worn. The horizontal bar that holds the glass rides on the vertical track. There are plastic blocks that snap into the horizontal bar that keep it from rocking front to rear too much. I found that the blocks on the rear were worn because the window it is not quite balanced on the track, making it heave to the front. This causes the rear block to ware. I added a small zip tie around the block to take up the slack. That keeps the window level as it rises. I cleaned and lubed the track and cables with lithium grease and also cleaned and lubed the window rubber with silicone spray. The windows have been working grate ever since. I do expect to have to replace the regulators at some point.

Hey JOSHI, do you remember the length of the bungies you used?
I tried this fix... didn't work for me.
I felt that it also strained the regulator a bit which could lead to failure. I ended up messing the guides/track which resolved the binding issue.
Wish someone could make a manual crank mod for these... and solve the track issue at the same time.
I installed the aftermarket brackets a long time ago - purchased them from someone on here, they worked for a while but eventually the regulators wore out and both windows have the issue. The brackets are almost completely rusted off from moisture inside the door as-well. Would anyone consider making these brackets in aluminum?
Good thing about the motors, they are exactly the same as the trooper, so they can be had at any junkyard for next to nothing.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Can anyone tell me the length of the bungie used? Just the slack unstreched length? 12" 14"? just guessing from the pics.
Update :-) my 4$ window fix just failed after 4 years and 8 months :-) on the driver side , passenger side still ok :-) but I will replace that too
sorry I did not reply to the questions how long is that bungies what I used .
I think it's will be different for every car . Have to play with it a little bit and find the right length :-) that is how I did mine more than 4 years ago .
