Its time for me to replace my worn ball joints. I have found Moog, McQuay, and Beck Arnley brand's on line. Anyone have experience with any of these brands? Quality? Fit? Bad experience's with any of them?

I bought the generic ebay set, no problems, except I would paint them before putting them on, and you might as well do a front upper ball joint swap while you are at it.
At like 40 bucks for all 4, who cares if they are junk, they fit and they work. Especially as often as I tear my front end apart, its only a matter of time till I tear a boot or something.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

I think I might try these. I don't need the rod ends but would be good for trail spares.
So, i went ahead and ordered the above set. They are "OE" brand. Several over on the Planet have had good luck with them. Plus they have zerk fittings for greasing. Total with shipping for 4 BJ's and 4 tie rod ends was just under $95. Will post some pics of them when they gey here.
Are these them? :

Are they a good product so far?
That is where I ordered mine from. Great and fast service. Doesn't look like they have the same kit I got but here are the BJs and Rod Ends seperately. Looks like it comes to about the same as what I paid. Here is everything they have for '01s.
I ebayed a generic set of ball joints and tie rod ends and cv shafts when I bought my VX about 4 months. It snap crackled and popped and pulled left. After replacing these things It made ALL the difference. Like a new front end. Mine has 120,000 miles. By the way thanks to Marlin..I think it was Marlin on using a sledge hammer to dislodge the upper ball joint. I just came in from replacing the passenger side shaft. It only took two lame hits from a sledge and it popped apart. One hit on the tie rod end. Someone else mentioned turning the castle nut over and partly screwing it on to protect the threading. I did this too. Now that I've been through this a few times I am convinced it can be done in less than an hour.
