    Look what I made

This is my first post. I have a stock silver 01 VX and love it... got it in July. Aside from a few minor cosmetic things, it's in awesome shape. This site has been extremely helpful.

So not really a "mod", but anyway, I just replaced my audio system a few weeks ago and wasn't sure what to do with the old 6 disc changer. It wasn't working properly and I felt kind of bad throwing it out.

This is the result of about 10 hours worth of work:

I named him Disco. He is 100% VX 6 disc changer with the exception of some solder and a bit of hot glue and nuts/bolts.

    That is FANTASTIC!!

I don't have my original CD player, but I would totally buy one and send it to you if I could have a piece of 100% VX art.

Awww... Boomer, are you so lonely you need to make yourself a friend? Just kidding, very cool, definitely better than mine (demolished in pieces in the recycling bin right now).

Thanks everyone. I did the same thing to our old toaster... also turned out pretty cool. If you have old parts that have absolutely no use whatsoever I'd be interested in doing something similar with them.

Do you need anything for your VX? I have access to one at a junkyard, we might be able to work out a trade of some sorts
