Hey superstang... I was looking through the Rims & Tires thread this morning and seeing a picture of your VX reminded me of this thread. How's your recovery coming along? I think you said 3 months to walking, but did you get all the stitches, pins, etc. out?
Hope you're doing well buddy!
what an incredible group of people in this community
How's the recovery going? Has anyone heard from him?
i was just thinking of this post last night 2
Been keeping up with him a bit.
He's walking again after having the pins in his ankle removed a few weeks ago. Said he walks like a toddler...
He's hoping to be back to work and driving and such in about another month.
Send him an e-mail and tell him your thinking about him. He'll appreciate it.

I do wish I could have received a little more assistance or at least comfort. She seemed upset that her daughter's jacket was back there and I was getting blood on it. I said "I'll buy her a new one for crying out loud, help me out!"
I can't believe the driver was SO worried about a jacket
I born in southamerica, never had ice road experience 'till i came to live in the US,i understood i must adquire some experience my self before i can feel confident in driving out there.
Man i so happy you were able to keep your self together, you certainly handle the situation way better then many would did in fact.
Wish you speedy recovery and hope to see you and your VX back on the road
Dakar was just the begining.
