I posted the pic in the original thread up top. You can't see it?
That looks great! Can I ask how much that ran you to do the cladding?
$940 out the door, tax and all. That included them removing the cladding, I'm sure it would've been cheaper if I had taken it off and brought it to them, but I'm ok with paying them to do it.
I like it..though maybe a tad shiny for me.
I wonder how this will "weather"...and if (heaven forbid) you get a crunch in a cladding section.....
...will the Line-X be "matchable" new to old...

After viewing your picture and seeing how beautiful the "X-tra" High Gloss portions are (hood insert/mirrors), I think the entire cladding should have been done in the "X-tra" (not Line-X) and kept it one paint theme. Oh well, too late now.
Also - the product will be the same now vs. 10 years from now. They use a UV protectant to prevent fading and the Line X has actually covered a few nicks and gouges that were in the cladding before. If I were to ever get into a fender bender, I could have them Line X over and cover any future problem areas. But I certainly don't expect to be bending any fenders. *knock on wood*
Jo,
My hood insert looks the same now as it did 2 years ago. I'll try to post a pic this weekend (I need to get it cleaned up after the snow/salt/crud of the past few weeks).
I don't think that fading is going to be a problem for him.
This spring I hope to take my spare hood insert in to be LineX'd & will take a side by side comparison shot for you.
