I sent the following message through eBay, and will let you know what the seller has to say.

    Hello,

I know of someone living in the UK who would like to bid on your item, but the way your auction is set up, the person is not given the option to bid or contact you to ask if you would make an exception.

I'd be glad to relay your answer and any other options you can think of for working out such a deal. Just let me know.
Only other thing I could think of would be for you to Paypal one of us the amount in advance to cover what your highest bid would be plus shipping charges so we could make the bid for you. If your highest bid did not win the auction, we'd simply Paypal the money back into your account.

    Well, that was quick.

I'm sorry but I do not ship out side of the United States. I hope that he can find someone that has one and will ship internationally.

I'd be glad to do the deal for you. I've PM'd my eBay ID so you can check my bidding/selling history for yourself.

    Hey Grok-
I've offered to do that for others, so I can do it for you too.

If you want me to grab that item (I'd recommend the Buy It Now for $45 USD), that'd be $51 USD, then the shipping to the UK. Let me know.

Looks like it MIGHT fit in one of the "Flat Rate" shipping boxes.

Do you know if it will fit in this size?

USPS-Priority Mail® International Small Flat Rate Box:
    8-5/8" x 5-3/8" x 1-5/8".
    Maximum weight 4 pounds.
    $13.95 USD

Next size up is Medium Flat Rate Box - $45.50 USD
    13-5/8" x 11-7/8" x 3-3/8" or 11" x 8-1/2" x 5-1/2".
    Maximum weight 20 pounds.

So it would be roughly - 130 GBP - 200 GBP

Dont fall for the flat rate unless your item is very small and heavy the cost is higher than paing by weight

Yeah, I always check the regular Priority rate vs. the Flat Rate....mostly end up using Parcel Post. But Flat Rate can be a terrific bargain in the right circumstances.
