A Russian VX over a big jump

Our Russian friends sure have fun over there, but man, they're just asking for trouble with some of the things they do in a VX. This is at the start of a time trial course.

Two views of the same jump-

Now that is how you get some air! But its also how you crack a control arm as one of our Russian friends did...bottoming out hard on the front bump stops.

Looks like he crapped himself - drove pretty slow after the first jump.

Good to see he could even continue after that landing.

    That made me smile...

We used to jump my friend's mid 90s subaru. We got a bit higher than that jump on sand... I was only a passenger once... from then on a spectator. Scary...

Now in the suburban we used to jump, I felt more secure... but never got height... just distance.

    Awesome

But lousy photography hey how about a zoom lens

I wonder about all those people parked on the side of the landing strip. They must trust the drivers more than I would.

I did that years ago in my dragon green. But the jump was shaped a lot like a Honda Civic.

This is more VX fun in the snow, in Poland I believe, but I'll add it on this thread. We have never heard anything from our friends in the VX Polish community, if there is even such a thing.

    I guess it's a US '99 Astral.

This is a rough translation of the comment for that last video-
every person who walked up to the rope and the person that pulls the people who have had the opportunity first of such equipment and the fact that they acted very wisely did not know of how to enhance your experience does not appear in the vicinity drawn Kinetics and how will the driver can see people when it does not move kinetyku . isuzu looks terrible, so far holds good, we'll see how it will continue to look does not always go hand in hand with those of off-road patrol Probably not but,) it is in the field

I think they better park that damn Pajero for the winter. It's get buried up to the frame too easily. Now it's gonna take a lotta shoveling.

I'll just add some new Russian VX vids to this thread. This time it's a nice gathering to play in the water. That must be a spring fed pond or creek to be that ice-free.

This one is over three minutes, but a VX is seen only at the very start.

Over there it seems like it's all about getting friends and family together for a fun day, even in mid-winter. We just don't see much of that over here. We rarely see any VX videos and we have a far greater number of Vehicri, by far. I try. I post a VX video now and then, but we've got a long way to go to equal our Russian friends in VX gatherings and videos and just plain old fun.
