lol @ the severe comment. I'm gonna be putting a billet grille in it shortly, no bed cover as I like my toolbox and not spending more money for the cover/box combo, and thought about a roll pan like I did on my 98' but think I'm gonna keep the bumper. Here's pics of my first Sierra:
So all the power-adders and engine work were in the 4x4? Ever run it down the track? What kind of power were you putting out?
Ya it ran low 8's in the 1/8 with just the blower on swampers, never ran it at the track with the nitrous. Did race a turbocharged Tacoma, couple GT's and various imports when I was younger in it lol. It surprised ALOT of people. I'm actually trying to source some turbo hot-pipes for my Sierra, if I can get them it'll be boosted shortly hehe
So which came first, the Sierra in street form or offroad form?
Sent from my "two hands on a keyboard"
Offroad. Ended up getting tired of the LTB's and wanted to go a different direction with it since I was putting alot of power through it, thought a "street" truck would be better. Here is a timeline of it's life:
Day I got it
Didn't take long to get it dirty
Got in an accident, lifted, new wheels/tires and bed, waiting for paint
New paint!
Buried a bit lol
Getting rid of the Goodyear Wranglers
New 33x13.50 Swamper LTB's
20" KMC Dime's
tisk tisk nut cutter! LOL Goes to show you can never know what a used truck has been thru!
lol nut cutter? haha The guy that bought it from me got full disclosure, showed him receipts, my photo album etc. He knew what he was getting, I'm an honest guy
STOP CUTTIN NUTS!
it's not cool, man.
wtf are you talking about lol. About taking the mud tires off the 4x4? When I did it I didn't offroad it anymore, never had time/place and was moving to Cali. Thought the street tires would be much more cross country friendly lol.
Look what I just bought
This is getting redonkulous
why, because it'll be done faster than your SVO? lol I can't leave anything alone, it's a sickness. But I couldn't pass up the setup for $350!
Yeah, well I got insurance and registered the SVO yesterday and plan to drive to work in it today but it was raining... and I don't have window's in it, or windshield wipers... so it sits in the garage alone again. It's sad, really.
