While coming to a stop both mine and my Dad's truck clunks just before we stop. I have an 01 and my Dad has a 99. The noise is coming from the rear end somewhere. Any ideas what that is?? Thanks

Search: "Clunk"
Here are some things to get you started...

I believe what you are experiencing is caused by "Driveline Lash"
.....and its "Normal"
Lubing your U-Joints seem to help some folks.
yes its very common. the two normal causes are an improperly greased driveshaft/u joints or missing transmission mount bolts.
first place to start, grease all 3 zerk fittings on the drive shaft
then, while your under there, check the back of the transmission at the crossmember. make sure there are two bolts holding the transmission in place
X2 on the trans bolts

I have occasional "knock" under my rt foot somewhere. I think it is a loose transmission line or something. There is an entire writeup somewhere on this subject and I think its by isuzu. There is a link somewhere at this website.
mine went clunk rite befor the trans went
