    Exclamation Tri-state and PA meet.

So after a tough winter spring season is finally here.

Along with that fact i thought of testing the waters in regards of organizing a meet in the tri-state and PA for the summer.

And here is this tread aiming @ all my fellow members in new york, new jersey, connecticut and of course pennsylvania to figured out how much interest is out there to make it happen.
    Dakar was just the begining.

There was talk several years ago about a get together for East Coast VXrs at Assateague Island.

    http://www.assateagueisland.com/assateague_camping.htm

Just throwing that out there as another option.

Do it and I am there (if I can go AWOL from work during crunchtime). We did a couple campout weekends there in previous years and it was always a great time. Needs to be planned VERY early though since Assateague books up pretty fast. Camping has gotten VERY popular since the economy bombed.... much cheaper.

    You are right about time.

That's why i did the proposal early.

Although the title says tri-state & PA meet this is wide open to all members living in the northeast.

We can do it late in the summer season,i think this one came be a family/friendly meet so you don't have to leave wife/husband and kids behind.

    Define camping.

What Wifey & I do is considered more like a hotel room on wheels.

Lucky for me, I don't have a wife, husband, or kids. Just a dog and many a little black book with the phone numbers of numerous ladies 1/2 my age.

And no, sorry dude, that ain't camping. My old MX team used to motor around in our Pace Arrow fleet and it was always so BLAH. THIS is camping....

Reminds me, my last trip out, my tent was damaged pretty bad by a storm. Need to get a new one.

I've tent camped before ... I've curled up near a campfire with no tent ... in the bed of a pick-up ... on the floor of a boat. I'm spoiled & like this method better
