It'd probably be much cheaper if you can get the Rancho 9000's. Their about $279.00 for a set of 4. Not sure if there are any local shops that have them in the UK, but you can always order online. If you do a search on the board for "Rancho" you'll find some previous posts that have more info on the shocks themselves and online locations on where to buy. http://www.gorancho.com
many thanks
i installed the rancho shocks and have my oem shocks if interisted, make me a reasonable offer to consider if interisted.
by the way they have like 40,000 miles on them
hi there
yes im interested in them but as im new to the vx i honestly have no idea how much there worth? and cos i live in uk it might cost a fortune to deliver, depending on what they weigh
but i am interested if you can give me a ball park figure,
and that dont mean the price of a ball park
many thanks lenny
Can anyone tell me what is the part number to the front and rear Rancho 9000(stock size) for a 2000 VX.
I would be willing to let my OEM shocks go for 225 + shipping. I was told that the OEM new are like $800. as for shipping im not sure how much it would be to the uk, if you interisted let me know and ill calculate shipping just email me your address.

I'm not positive these are the right numbers because I havn't gotten mine yet. But, the part numbers were posted on the Rancho thread and they seem to work for all those that have purchased so far.
#RS99214 and RS99215

Does anyone know if the stock shocks are rebuildable, and if so, how much something like that would cost? I have been riding on Rancho 9000's for about a year and think they're great alternatives, but it doesn't ride as smooth as when I first bought it.
Stock shocks are pretty special. Not sure about now, but back in '99 there wasn't a production vehicle with anything like 'em. I'll wear 'em out and then maybe go with the Ranchos, but not until then.
