'03 Axiom has same fog switches as '98+ Rodeo

Just noticed, in these pics, '03 Axiom appears to have same fog light switch as Rodeos...connector/pigtail is probably like '98 + Rodeos. Wish I'd known that about a month ago..could've been searching for Axioms too. Info was probably here, I just didn't know it.

ALSO, wow, never seen a (-2) feedback score! All 3 feedbacks listed are negative. A real winner....

I'm pretty sure they're not the same. I picked up a fog switch AND pigtail off an '03 Axiom about six months ago, but ended up giving Billy the pigtail as partial payment for his lift and electrical services. He tried using it on a different Isuzu fog switch and it didn't fit - the buttons look alike from the outside, but the plugs on the back are different. I gave him the matching switch and everything worked great (evidenced by his uber cheap lighting thread).

I think I'm understanding what you're saying, not sure.
I know the male/female part for the '97 is more squarish, and the '98 is much skinnier than the '97, but mine worked out.

I'm holding fog switch from a '97, and the lighter colored one to the right is from a '98.

Then 2nd pic is from the junkyard, that's the pigtail I got, and it fit the lighter colored receptical (whatever it's called) perfectly.

Is that the part yellowgizmo couldn't get to work, because the shapes were different?
