Some have used a heat gun to smooth out a dent like that. Most recently, Luna-X did it on his Proton....could ask him.

heat gun (careful not too close, don't want to melt it) and keep pressure on the back. Might have to do it in intervals but should be fairly easy to get out. And yes, looks like the abs light
