    Got my Baby Back

As at least some of you know 6 days after I got my Dragon home my brother-in-law backed into it. Got her back from the body shop today bout 1pm. It cost Farmers $2700 and I paid an additional $2200. I had the hood and insert replaced to fix some damage they had covered with a bra. The top rails removed and the entire top repainted to fix some rust issues I found after I bought it. It was worth it since I live on a boat and have no garage to keep her in. I think they did a great job.

I ordered some "showroom new" per Kat's glowing review of it I'll do that next to get a better cladding match.

Looks good! Nice you got those other things taken care of. Several have had some rust start under the roof rails.

On the Showroom New, I'm wondering how the color match would be if you apply it to the lighter and darker pieces...I'm not sure if it will match or not.

I have about 1/2 bottle (~2 oz) of the gray color left, if you need it to make a custom blend, just give me a shout and I can mail it to you.
** Remember ** Don't let your fingers apply individual pressure on the sponge/fabric applicator..it will create streaks where your fingers have pressed harder and more dye came out.

That's a darn good looking Dragon there!

What did the rims get painted with? Powder coat or paint or rattle can?

To funny.. The rims were that way when I bought it I'm guessing it's paint. Thanks for the offer Kat, what I really want to know about are the chrome mirrors I saw on Rowhard's dragon today

Your rims looked very good...my guess would have been powder coat by looking at them, but I'm no expert with paints and finishes -- I do 12V, lol. And those mirrors of Rowhard's were fabulous... I'll definitely say x2 there (though I'd rather have a CF wrap in yellow weave )
