It hooks onto the bottom of the jack mount then when the jack is in place you swing that up over the top and open the jack a bit to secure it in place.

Holdup a sec. I dont need the jack, I thought you were sending me the cargo net? Although I dont have that little hook thing either. My jack just kinda sits in there loose. Not sure how its supposed to be.
