buy the steel, welding wire (cheap) and pitch some money for argon and I'll be happy to help you start building a new rear bumper.
(you'd have to come down to my parents, but it'd save you hundreds compared to a shop)... they live down by monument, co.

Giz, your zip tie fix is nice. I have one in my door as well. Those little plastic clips are cheap from Merlin...
