Checked with our PR guy about Ubi publishing this in the states. His Ubi US contact has no info on it, so it's probably not a Western deal. Most likely just Japan and perhaps Europe.

I hear that genki the publisher are no longer releasing games in the US... so I am off to my local import shop to mod my PS2 and pick this game up.
Still hope that some one picks this game up for release in the US.

A different Game with a VX
I didn't want to start a new thread for this game because it has been mentioned in an archived thread and it has been out since like '99. It appears to be released for both PC and Sony PlayStation.
My brother gave me this PC Version for Christmas:
Test Drive Off-Road III which includes a VehiCross......haven't got to play it yet but here is a screenshot I came across on the web:
