Guess I will be on the market for a PS2 real soon, if this game is released.

Very nice rendering ... almost like a snapshot of a Tamaya plastic model...
Looks like a street racing game. Funny that they would put a VX in a game like that. I'd think it would be more suitable for an off-road or baja type game... if you were taking real-world characteristics in to play.
(By the way, before people start posting that they "road race" in theirs and stuff... I'm not saying you can't in a VX. I'm wondering why they put it in a game with cars that are made for speed. There... trying to cover my tracks).

No mention of all the cars available, however.
Not that I'm doubting you but I would love to see anyone drift on pavement in a VX !Originally posted by hchen

Well, if you gotta have an SUV in such a game, the VX is probably one of the best for the role.Originally posted by Dallas4u

... A brief Public Service Announcement... Road racing is dangerous and illegal, and I pray I NEVER hear about any member of the VX family getting "CAUGHT" doing it . We now return you to your regularly scheduled program...
Let's just say I know why the VX is in the game. Can I get another witness?

Hope that the VX might be in GT4 also:
This is cool behind the scenes video of the making of Gran Turismo 4... Notice, at the 35 second point, there's a line of scale models used for 3d renderings... and there is a Isuzu Vehicross in the line up...
Fingers crossed. GT4 is going to a great game! But it will be the best if they squeeze the VX in there.

"Players can go online to vie with as many as five others (six in total); the vehicle roster is currently swelling to more than 500 cars, which range from the earliest race cars ever made to the fastest, newest games on the planet; it offers new circuits, many of which are based on real world circuits from across the world; and last but not least, it will feature better, more human AI...
"...The 500-plus car roster includes a glut of licensed cars (one of the series' biggest and best trademarks), and we've got confirmation on many of them (see the list below); but vehicles such as Ferraris, Lamborghinis and other European streets cars have yet to be confirmed for GT4...
"...While we played on three courses at E3 -- The Grand Canyon (rally), NY, and Tsukuba Circuit -- we expect dozens more tracks to appear. Since there were about 30 vehicles available in the E3 demo that means at least 470 more are to come. Weeee!!!"

We deal with UbiSoft since they publish our overseas games. I will use my contacts to find out more about the game.

Drifting on pavement is hard on the tires for sure and harder on sticky tires like the Scorps but can be done - see your local Porsche club and participate in some of their high speed driver’s ed events - can’t see it in this video but there are quite a few areas on the back side of the track for steady drifts - http://homepage.mac.com/amonday/iMovieTheater.html
