    Where to find 4.77's

Yes, I searched here and on a few other boards. But, the information I could find on what vehicles that came with compatible 4.77 is sparse and uncertain at best. Is there any chance that anyone has the actual part number for the gears themselves and not the 3rd members with the gears in them? I will need some in short order and am getting a bit frustrated with this particular part hunt.

Yes they are hard to find. I've almost given up on finding 4.77s other than stumbling across someone whos getting rid of them.

Spazz was able to source 4.77s for a while and had a few sets for sale. He no longer has a VX but you may want to contact him to see how he was able to get multiple sets. Maybe he will have a part # as well. GL

Thanks, I'll drop him a line. I'm just in a pinch to find some because the boss lady actually gave me a wholehearted yes to new gears because she hates the whining of the stock rear. I'm trying to take her up on the offer before she changes her mind.

Anyone read Cyrillic (Russian)? Unless I'm wrong, that second page is a list of 4.77's (rear) and prices. I managed to get the part numbers for the gearsets from St Charles and that is all that came up on the internet when I searched it.

You can get them at the auto parts store on the shelf between the unicorns and the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow!

Seriosly though, they are rare and hard to find but a set pops up on the planet classifieds every once in a while.
