    TOD Troubles (Video)

I've also got some issues with the TOD system.

In dry conditions while driving the TOD will throw a lot of power at the front wheels even when driving fairly passively. This seems to happen the most between 30-50mph. It makes the ride very jerky and there is an audible whump-whump-whump (turn up your speakers to hear it) when it occurs.

The TOD check light does not come on, but the light does appear to be working (lights up during the self-diagnostic check at startup)

What should we be looking at first? Sensors? Connections? Tire pressure on all 4 wheels is equal and the 4 tires are the stock size and of the same make and brand.

Any help with this is hugely appreciated.

    Thanks!
    Eric

As always with TOD, start with the tires. Are they all the same make and model with the same amount of wear and all at the same pressure?

I just double checked the tires and one of the rears is the same size but a different make/model. Should I replace all 4 tires as a first step? That seems a bit drastic but if it's the best thing to clear the issue that may be just what I do.

Edit: I'm going to try swapping the newer tires (left rear) to the front and see if that causes any change. I'll post back here with results.

Put that odd one on the front and see if there's any change in the TOD behavior. Our odd size donut spare is always supposed to be used on the front only to avoid TOD issues.
