Sure, if you convert your VX to right-hand drive.

Sounds like more than just the center console. If you could get a hold of a Japan dash, maybe you could graft the center section into a U.S. dash.

    Lightbulb

The upper two-thirds of the center console is part-n-parcel with the instrument bezel and isn't mirror-imaged of the US 'cause of the double DIN opening. You would need to obtain different A/C vent components and the underlying support structure. I'm not trying to be discouraging so much as realistic. Your money would be far better spent on an original customization rather than retrofitting that particular configuration. Then you would have something truly unique, functional, supportable and you'd be far happier in the realization of your vision.

Plus, we'd get a hell of a kick seeing it!

yea i realize i would have to replace parts of the center console...but where my radio is theres a crack along the side of it...i was planning to replace it when i get the money but if i can just replace it with the jap version with the lcd tat would have been best..but after reading wat joe_black said i think it would be difficult to modify..maybe if i get the money later ill do the conversion.....
