    questions about tire/wheel setup

I"m going to replace the stock wheel/tires and have been looking at these 17 inch wheels: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...yker&typ=Truck
with 265 65 17 tires which is looks like around (30.56 dia).
What i'm unsure about is should I go with +10 offset or +25?
Also, or would 275 65 17 (31.07 dia) fit without trimming the front cladding.

I would go with +10mm offset because the rims & tires are a bit wider than the stock setup. Although +25mm is closer to the stock rim offset (+38mm), you could encounter inner clearance issues with too much positive offset. Better safe than sorry IMO.

Those rims should look pretty good . Make sure to post pics in the tire/rims section after you get everything installed.

Nice looking 17" wheel. Definitely go with the +25mm which is closer to stock (+38mm OEM), which should be your goal when searching for wheels. Forget the +10mm, as the tires will stick out way too far and the resulting wider "swing arc" will hit everything when turned (requiring extensive trimming/modification).

My highest recommendation for a 17" tire would specifically be the Yokohama - Geolandar A/T-S in 285/65R17 (31.6" O.D./42.6 lbs). This is a super rare tire size that has a low wide profile in an awesome A/T tire design. It should fit nicely with very little trimming and will look sweet due to the wider 285 series.

One thing to look at on those wheels is to be sure the center bore is the proper size to fit over the hubs.

Thanks for the advice. Decided on the +25 offset after messing with the visual offset calc.

Good luck (and good choice, in my opinion). Don't forget to post pics when all's said and done.
