VX Air Box Shared with Trooper or Rodeo?

I already looked at the air box on the wife's Axiom and it's a no-go - air filter dimensions are the same, but the port that goes back to the engine is in a different place.

Oh well...

So much for my crackhead idea...

The 2000 VX and the 2000 Trooper box are exactly the same price on isuzuparts.com, but the Rodeo one is more expensive.

I'd start there.

Well.... I had a Frontera (Identical to the Rodeo) and although the air filter element is identical... the box isn't
Don't see why a rodeo box wouldn't fit in there though with a bit of clever manipulating and mounting.
