ECORS Race Truck

I bought a 99 VX up in New York this week and got to see it in person for the first time yesterday. From a distance it isn't that bad, however the closer you get the rustier it gets. We have dubbed it the VehiBARNACLE. Severly rusty frame and body. There are holes in the floors, pretty much all over. Current plan is to get it running (hopefully) for the May race and then do a frame swap by the July race. Joe Darlington and I will be cutting down a 2000 Trooper frame and moving the VX body over to it. So here are some pictures:

Meet the BARNACLE. Apparently we had a ghostly visitor today, note the orb in the right hand corner. These were in several pictures I took.......







Here are the parts we will be using to build custom lower links, added the fog lights to give some scale to the joints....
